Located in Torrance, California, Borg/AstroHutech is the international distributor of the Japanese line of apochromatic refractors called Borg. Borg refractors, ranging from 45mm to 125mm, with their premium optics and modular design are the most versatile and portable refractors on the market today allowing its users many different setup configuration options, including binoscope setups. Astro-Hutech also carries a complete line of accessories, such as, reducers/field flatteners for refractors, light pollution and imaging filters from IDAS and numerous camera adapters for both CCD and DSLR cameras. In addition to carrying refractors and accessories, Astro-Hutech was also the first company on the market to offer modifications to DSLR’s for astronomical use while at the same time still retaining all of the camera’s normal functions. Today Astro-Hutech modifies the complete line of Canon DSLR cameras and offers modification options to other popular brands, such as Nikon and Panasonic.
